=> fear
Fears are part of the defense mechanism is our survival instinct. They emerge in early childhood and slowly subside.
Examples:
This is the family context that makes these fears subside or remain. If fears are still there in adulthood or if they reappear after a shock is that the parents have failed to reassure the natural fears of the child when they came out in early childhood. The childhood fears back because our anxiety rises. The brain has all its fears him.
Fears are natural in humans. Without fear, there would be more humane. We may be afraid of a dog which means we'll be uncomfortable. But if we make the avoidance then becomes phobic. Fears and phobias lead to avoidance.
=> phobia
96% of first panics are due to accumulated stress and extreme physical exhaustion.

=> L'agoraphobie
L'agoraphobie c'est la peur d'avoir peur dans les grands espaces.
- Agora: espace ouvert (place publique)
- Phobie: peur d'avoir peur
The cerebral neocortex or cognitive brain is our intelligence. Its role is to be rational.
We
can compare this part of the brain to a microprocessor. It has the
ability to process information in milliseconds. It supports the
judgment, analysis, concentration, attention, thinking, imagination,
planning, inhibition of our impulses, symbolic, verbal, logical future
plans. This is our Adult side, our moral behavior. We want to find the
answers to all our questions.
The limbic or emotional brain is our behavior. Its role: the survival instinct (fear, adrenaline rush).
This
is our next child. It does not reason. It was he who triggered panic
attacks because he is afraid. He takes over to save us.
It
is the memory of our experiences related to emotions. He has forgotten
nothing of his past experience which is stored. It is our long-term
memory (childhood memories, smells, tastes ...). It is the seat of the
non-verbal, non-rational, intuition, reflexes, habits, the inconcient,
the site of our emotions, automatic operation. 95% of our actions during
the day are unconscious and automatic, 5% are smart.
The
limbic brain receives information sent by the body (breathing, heart
rate, blood pressure, appetite, sleep, libido ...) and tells him to
maintain physiological balance.
=> Who is Max?
Max
is our anxiety, our fear. The principle is to give Max a shape, a name
to them to better understand how our brain when our fear is triggered.
By identifying our fear, it will be easier to work panic attacks.
In
the meantime, I'll let you get to know her. It belongs to each and
every one of you, it is "yours", it is part of your brain instinctively
where your child is. You know the one that has between 4 and 5 years of
mental age? You will become the Parent in the comforting and protecting
it and when it will show too capricious, like all children, it will show
you a little firmer so that you listen.
